Sunday

Morning worship

This service is designed to appeal to a wide variety of people of all denominational backgrounds. We follow Lectionary readings, and aim to breathe new life into the traditional forms. Communion is served on the second and fourth Sundays of each month (as well as at Christmas, Maundy Thursday and Easter) and open to all who follow Jesus. There is a space at the back with toys and suitable books where parents can take younger children. Walkers are most welcome – as are stockinged feet if they feel boots are dirty. We regularly have dogs in the congregation.

This service will not be held during the week of prayer for Christian Unity in January, as we encourage all to attend the Prayer for Christian Unity service at St Mary’s Ambleside; this is the only Sunday in the year when we shall not have a service in Holy Trinity.

Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour

Cafe Church in Little Langdale
On the third Sunday of the month there is a service in Little Langdale Chapel (about 200 yards past the Three Shires Inn on your left hand side as you walk towards Wrynose Pass).  This is aimed at families with young children: a mixture of action songs, story-time, activities and crafts.  But be warned if you are not used to such services they are very informal and can be a bit noisy!
Due to the possibility of snow and ice, we take a break from these services during December, January, & February.
